As the shutdown drags on my irritation rises, and my tolerance for over the top media coverage on the subject wanes at each passing day. So it is nice to see some good news surrounding the shutdown for a change. Maybe you heard this in the news; two philanthropists, Laura and John Arnold, donated up to $10 million to help keep National Head Start programs running during the shutdown.
